Our goal is to consistently meet and exceed client expectations by maintaining established standards and continuously improving our processes.

We prioritize building long-term, trust-based relationships with our clients and ensure their satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and enhancing our services. We operate with a zero-tolerance policy for unethical behavior and ensure complete independence and confidentiality in all our operations.

CERES Certifications Ltd. is committed to maintaining confidentiality and protecting the privacy of all information related to clients, auditors, staff, shareholders, and stakeholders. All personnel adhere to the CERES Certifications' Code of Conduct and Confidentiality Procedure, ensuring that sensitive information is safeguarded through appropriate access controls and role definitions.

We take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access to information and retain social compliance audit documents for a minimum of ten years, in compliance with legal, client, and contractual requirements. Personally, identifiable information will not be disclosed.

Confidentiality measures include:
  • Protecting proprietary client information from unauthorized use or disclosure.
  • Sharing information only with certification bodies, accreditation bodies, and standard owners for verification purposes.
  • Prohibiting employees from disclosing confidential information without client consent.

Exceptions to confidentiality occur only when required by law, ethics, or client agreements, with prior client notification when necessary.

This procedure details how CERES manages internal and external appeals and complaints to resolve issues and prevent their recurrence. It includes formal and informal complaints from CERES registered operators, applicants, clients, vendors, brands, overseas offices, as well as anonymous or verbal complaints. If a file reviewer disagrees with the Lead auditor/inspector’s recommendation, the matter will be addressed through the internal appeals process.

CERES Certifications Ltd. is committed to conducting business with honesty, integrity, and in compliance with all relevant laws against bribery and corruption in every territory where we operate. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery, prohibiting all employees and auditors from offering, accepting, or facilitating bribes directly or through third parties. Auditors must not accept rides or meals from clients unless alternative options are unavailable, and only with prior approval from CERES Certifications Ltd. Head Office or local supervisors. Gifts or hospitality may not be given or received if they are deemed illegal, improper, or in violation of the recipient’s policies. All CERES Certifications Ltd. personnel are expected to uphold these principles consistently and report any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
